Fountain-Fort Carson's boys' track and field team has clinched the Class 5A state track and field title with three events remaining, two of which the Trojans have top-three seeds in.

Following Jason Ferrell's ninth-place in the 300 hurdles, and Iosua Maika's fifth-place finish in the shot put, the Trojans had 86 points to Cherry Creek's 60. Neither team has a runner in the 1,600-meter finals, making it impossible for Cherry Creek to make up 26 points over two events.
