At Vista Ridge: Jaylen Thomas threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Vista Ridge (6-3, 3-1 4A Pikes Peak) beat Palmer (0-9, 0-4) to set up a showdown against Rampart for the league title.
The Wolves will travel to Rampart on Friday to decide the 4A Pikes Peak champion.
Jeffrey Crittendon ran for a score and caught another from Thomas for Vista Ridge, which has scored 117 points over the last two weeks.
“Our defense has been good all season but our offense has been progressing,” Jerimi Calip said. “They’re getting better each week.”
Air Academy 26, Mesa Ridge 21
At Air Academy: On senior night, Air Academy (5-4, 1-3) held on to beat Mesa Ridge (5-4, 2-2) to snap a three-game losing streak.
The Kadets were up 21-0 at half and led 26-7 in the fourth quarter before withstanding a late push from the Grizzlies.
Zach Martin led Air Academy with rushing scores of 44 and 7 yards.
Palmer Ridge 52, Kennedy 0
At Don Breese Stadium: Ty Evans threw four touchdowns to give him 30 on the season as Palmer Ridge (9-0, 4-0 3A East Metro) beat Kennedy (4-5, 1-3).
The Bears travel to Vista PEAK Prep next week in hopes of capping off a perfect season.
Raef Ruel ran for two scores and Anthony Roberson II caught two TDs. The Bears’ dazzling defense pitched a shutout for the third time this season.
Rampart 53, Coronado 6
At Garry Berry Stadium: Jackson Beale and Keion Cross each had two touchdowns on the ground as Rampart (7-2, 4-0 4A Pikes Peak) beat Coronado (3-6, 1-3) for its fourth straight win.
The Rams will host Vista Ridge next week in bout for the league title.
On Friday, the Rams went up 38-0 in the first half. Jared Behm had a 42-yard touchdown on the ground in the opening minute and Beale added two scores of 3 and 43 yards to put Rampart up 21-0.
The Rams scored twice in final minute of the half on Keion Cross’ 59-yard sprint and Jake Pavlica’s pick-six.
Troy Renner scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter for Coronado.
Lewis-Palmer 25, Falcon 6
At Falcon: Dieudonne Chea ran for two scores and Lewis-Palmer’s defense was staunch as the Rangers (3-6, 2-2 3A Southern) beat the Falcons (2-7, 2-2).
Colton Baroni and Patrick Haggard also scored in L-P’s second straight win.
Justin Serrano connected with Shayne Godinez for a 35-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter for Falcon.
Lakewood 13, Fountain-Fort Carson 3
At Lakewood: Lakewood (7-2, 2-2 5A Mt. Lincoln) scored two touchdowns late in the fourth quarter to hand Fountain-Fort Carson (4-5, 1-3) its third straight defeat.
The Trojans were held without a touchdown for the first time all season.
TCA 56, Manitou Springs 12
At Manitou Springs: Jenson Hall ran for three scores and caught another as TCA (8-1, 4-1 2A Tri-Peaks) beat Manitou Springs (4-5, 2-3).
Brayden Luft added rushing scores of 6 and 72 for the Titans, who have won four straight. Cade Bethany threw for 227 yards.
Manitou Springs has lost three of its last four.
Canon City 48, Woodland Park 7
At Canon City: Zac Hanenberg connected with Cole Smith for two touchdowns as Canon City (8-1, 4-0 3A Southern) beat Woodland Park (3-6, 1-3) for its fourth straight win.
Hanenberg threw for 91 yards and rushed for another 87 and score.
Grand Junction Central 26, Liberty 20
At Liberty: The Lancers (1-8, 1-3 4A Foothills) fell to Grand Junction Central (3-6, 2-2) a week after their first win of the season.
Liberty is 0-5 at home this season.

At Dutch Clark Stadium: The Scorpions (1-8, 0-4) lost their fifth straight game and are now 0-4 on the road this season.

At Cheyenne Mountain: Taylor Buckley had 16 kills, Trinity Jackson had 13, and Lewis-Palmer (21-0) won both of its games at the Cheyenne Mountain Tournament to stay undefeated on the season.
Gianna Bartalo had 15 digs and four aces to help the Rangers.
Mesa Ridge’s Kylie Lenberg had eight kills in her team’s two defeats.

At Cheyenne Mountain: Rampart (13-9) beat Cheyenne Mountain (7-14), while the Indians dropped both of their matches.
Freshman Kinley Coe had 17 kills for the Indians. Sister Kaelin Coe had 51 assists.

At Ponderosa: Gabby Wilson had 15 kills as Pine Creek (9-12) dropped both of its matches at the Ponderosa Mustang Classic.
