Bost steps down after 12 seasons

Don Bost, who steadied Evangelical Christian Academy after the sudden passing of legendary coach Dennis Bruns in 2005, recently stepped down after 12 seasons as coach.

"It's probably time to move on to another chapter," Bost said Monday. "I'd still like to coach again as an assistant. I could probably coach forever, but my wife is ready for me to be done for a while. This has been a lot of stress on her, and she has done a great job supporting me."

Bost finished with a career record of 157-112.
