Gazette Preps 2018 Girls' Lacrosse All-Stars

 

FIRST TEAM

Attack: Hannah Dove, fr., Palmer Ridge — As a newcomer, Dove was fourth in the Southern League with 48 goals to go along seven assists, 14 takeaways and 29 ground balls. In the regular-season finale against Rampart, she had a season-best nine goals.

Attack: Madeline Bourgois, jr., Pine Creek— Bourgois supplied 43 goals, 25 assists and 42 ground balls for the Eagles, who went 7-0 in the Southern League. She was part of an offense that outscored league opponents 113-41.

Attack: Reagan Brenenstuhl, jr., Air Academy — Brenenstuhl led the Southern League with 70 goals to go along with eight assists and 10 takeaways. Twice, she scored seven goals for the Kadets, who advanced to the playoffs.

Midfielder: Kate Hatchell, sr., Pine Creek — Hatchell was part of an effective offense, finishing with 32 goals and seven assists. She also came up with 42 ground balls, averaging nearly three per game, to go with 31 takeaways.

Midfielder: Brittney White, jr., Pine Creek — With a pass-first mentality, White finished with a team-best 22 assists to go along with 47 goals, 57 ground balls and 23 takeaways. She led an offense that earned a first-round playoff bye.

Midfielder: Nicole Beaulieu, jr., Cheyenne Mountain — Beaulieu was second in scoring for the Indians with 52 goals and 13 assists. She averaged three goals per game, to go along with 28 ground balls and six takeaways. Last season, she had just 13 goals.

Midfielder: Rylie Maready, jr., Cheyenne Mountain — Maready led the Indians with 54 goals, averaging three per game, to go with five assists, 43 ground balls and 16 takeaways. She had seven games in which she scored at least four goals.

Midfielder: Liz Phillips, sr., Palmer Ridge — Phillips capped off her prep career with a 44-goal season, second best for the Bears. She also had 11 assists, a team-best 69 ground balls (averaging more than four per game) and 16 takeaways.

Defender: Riley Hatchell, sr., Pine Creek — Hatchell recorded 28 takeaways for a team that held opponents to single-digit scoring nine times. She also had seven goals and four assists with 15 shots on goal and snatched up 40 ground balls.

Defender: Elizabeth LaJoie, jr., Cheyenne Mountain — LaJoie had 23 ground balls and 19 takeaways for an Indians team that advanced past the first round of the playoffs. The Indians held opponents to single-digit scoring four times.

Defender: Madison Miller, sr., Palmer Ridge — Miller had 26 ground balls and nine takeaways for a team that outscored Southern League opponents 113-72 and held five opponents to single-digit scoring. She also had nine goals and two assists.

Goalie: Devin Morgan, sr., Pine Creek — Morgan proved to be a force in front of the net, finishing with 104 saves and a .483 saving percentage. The Eagles were 13-2 when Morgan was the goalie. She also saved 67.8 percent on free position shots, the best in the Southern League.

Attack — Madelyn Lewis, sr., Cheyenne Mountain

Attack — Camille Callahan, jr., Liberty

Attack — Mallory Hybl, sr., Cheyenne Mountain
