A Palmer High School student who had caused a disturbance at the downtown campus Friday, was arrested later after refusing to leave a football game at Garry Berry Stadium, Colorado Springs police said.

The juvenile, whose name was not released, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting arrest.

Police did not describe the earlier disturbance, saying only that it is under investigation and could result in additional criminal charges.

The teenage boy became belligerent and verbally abusive after school officials, who had told him he could not attend the game because of his actions at school, called police to the stadium at 2020 Glenn Summer Road to remove him, police said.

Officers had to use a stun gun to take him into custody, the report online stated. An officer who fell on the bleachers during the scuffle with the boy injured his back and was treated at a local hospital.
