At Palmer Ridge: Palmer Ridge (21-2) ended the regular season on a 10-game winning streak and solidified its bid to host a regional tournament next week by winning all four matches in its home tournament.
The Bears entered the day ranked No. 6 in the RPI. On Monday, the top 12 seeds in each class will host three-team regionals, in which the round-robin winner will advance to the state tournament.

At Cheyenne Mountain: Lewis-Palmer (23-0) finished off a perfect regular season by sweeping tournament play, including a second victory over reigning and four-time 3A state champion Eaton.
Against Eaton, both Taylor Buckley and Riley Putnicki had 13 kills apiece.

At Mitchell: Palmer (16-7) beat St. Mary’s in the championship game to finish the regular season on a six-game winning streak as the Terrors posted the most wins in more than a decade.
The program’s most successful season in recent history came in 2013, when Palmer went 13-12.

At Parker: Pine Creek (9-14) dropped a pair of matches to tournament host Ponderosa and Durango as the Eagles dropped their fourth straight.
St. Mary’s 47, Lake County 24
At Grace Center: St. Mary’s (1-8, 1-4 1A Black Forest) snapped a 27-game losing streak by ending the regular season with a big win over Lake County (2-7, 1-4).
The Pirates went winless in 2015 and 2016.
Doherty 35, Overland 34
At Garry Berry Stadium: D’Angelo Shepherd scored a pair of touchdowns, and Doherty took the lead with a fourth-down score with three minutes left as the Spartans rallied to win on senior night.
Ponderosa 61, Cheyenne Mountain 0
At Parker: Sterling Ostdahl had touchdown passes of 93 and 50 yards and added a short scoring run as Ponderosa (9-0, 4-0 4A Foothills), ranked No. 6 in the latest RPI standings, scored 34 first-quarter points en route to a rout of Cheyenne Mountain (5-4, 1-3).
At Mountain Range: For the second straight year, the District 20 gymnastics team, headquartered out of Rampart, finished second in the overall standings to earned a berth in the upcoming 4A state meet.
Prior to the 2016 season, the program had never reached state as a team.
The 4A and 5A meets take place Thursday-Nov. 4 in Thornton.
