As of Friday afternoon, the Class 2A and 4A baseball tournaments hadn't changed their originally rescheduled tournaments.

Evangelical Christian Academy and Peyton (both out of 2A District 8) will start 2A regional play this weekend.

Class 4A Air Academy will have to wait until Monday to get going.

Now that the weather might cooperate, teams can get back on the diamond.

Class 4A

Air Academy vs. Evergreen

When: Monday, 10 a.m.

And the Kadets come in hot, winning eight consecutive behind staunch pitching from James Verlinde (5-3, 2.07 ERA) and Micah Bregard (5-1, 1.63). The Kadets can hit too, averaging just over eight runs per game. No. 4 Evergreen (13-8) is on a four-game win streak and finished sixth in the Jeffco League with a 3-4 record.
