Highlights from Tuesday's high school sports scene around the Pikes Peak region.

VOLLEYBALL

Rampart 3, Coronado 1

At Rampart: Pikes Peak region 5A No. 1 Rampart (13-6, 6-0 5A CSML) locked up the Colorado Springs Metro League title with a four-set win over 5A No. 3 Coronado (13-6, 4-2) on Tuesday night.

All four sets finished within five points, but the Rams made sure the league title and an automatic postseason berth would be theirs, 29-27, 25-20, 24-26, 27-25.

Discovery Canyon 3, Pueblo East 1

At Discovery Canyon: Discovery Canyon (7-11) topped Pueblo East in four sets, 25-12, 25-16, 23-25, 25-9, behind Kristina Schneible's team-high 10 kills and Leah Lester's team-high 17 digs.

Ashten Prechtel led the squad with 21 assists and had eight kills and eight digs.

Canon City 3, Elizabeth 1

At Canon City: Canon City (12-7, 7-1 4A CSML) dropped its first set, only to win the last three and get the win over Elizabeth (6-12, 4-3) 21-25, 25-20, 25-13, 25-20.

TCA 3, Mesa Ridge 1

At Mesa Ridge: After splitting the first two sets, 4A No. 3 The Classical Academy (12-7, 7-0 4A CSML) pulled away against Mesa Ridge (7-11, 4-3) 25-20, 24-26, 25-21, 25-16 to stay perfect in league play.

Doherty 3, Palmer 0

At Palmer: Doherty (10-9, 1-5 5A CSML) swept Palmer (7-12, 1-5) 25-21, 25-12, 25-22 to notch its first league win and wrap up conference play.

Sierra 3, Mitchell 1

At Sierra: Amber Wilkerson had six aces, eight kills and 12 digs to help Sierra (8-10, 3-4 4A CSML) defeat Mitchell (4-14, 0-7) 25-21, 25-17, 21-25, 25-11.

Sophomore Gya'ni Sami led the Stallions with 15 kills.

Pine Creek 3, Liberty 0

At Liberty: Pikes Peak region 5A No. 2 Pine Creek (13-6, 5-1 5A CSML) swept Liberty (9-10, 3-3) 25-16, 25-18, 25-22 to close out league play, as Lindsey Jin posted a game-high 17 kills.

Eagles teammate Avery Nelson added 11 kills.

CSCS 3, Thomas Jefferson 0

At CSCS: Three players hit double digits in kills as Pikes Peak region 3A & Below No. 1 Colorado Springs Christian School (19-4) won its sixth consecutive match with a 25-16, 25-22, 26-24 win over 4A Thomas Jefferson (14-4).

Bailey Scott and Christa Vogt each had 11 kills for the 3A Lions while Christine Ajayi added 10.

Cassie Davis added nine kills and led the Lions with 45 assists.

Widefield 3, Harrison 0

At Widefield: Widefield (5-13, 2-5 4A CSML) topped Harrison (2-20, 1-6) 25-10, 25-15, 25-11, as Nia Smith led the Gladiators with 11 kills.

Daurie Westberg added 21 digs for the Gladiators.

ECA 3, Calhan 1

At Evangelical Christian Academy: Maggie Kirkpatrick led the Eagles with 18 kills as ECA (12-8) defeated Calhan (8-12) 25-15, 23-25, 25-15, 26-24.

Kirkpatrick added 16 assists and 10 digs. Annalise DeKam had nine kills and 14 digs. Liz Bristow led the Eagles with 26 digs.

Simla 3, Peyton 0

At Simla: Simla (16-4) swept Peyton (5-15) 25-15, 25-18, 25-18.

Emily Starkie led the Panthers with seven kills.
