No. 1 Air Academy 4, No. 32 Thompson Valley 1

At Air Academy: Kristian Hooker, Kelton Hooker, Brayden Jonswold and Thaddeus Dewing all scored in the second half as Air Academy (16-0) overcame a one-goal halftime deficit to pull away from Thompson Valley (5-9-2).

No. 11 Sand Creek 4, No. 22 D’Evelyn 0

At Sand Creek: Garrett Kramer ended the regular season with a team-high 29 goals, lamenting not finishing with 30 after hitting the post in the finale against Lewis-Palmer.

The Sand Creek senior got a little redemption in a game with much more meaning.

Kramer scored twice to lift the Scorpions (14-1-1) to a 4-0 shutout of D’Evelyn (9-7) to advance to the second round on the road at Denver North on Halloween.

Jesse Bridge got Sand Creek off to a fast start with a goal just 9:12 into the game and assisted Aidan Brown on another for the Scorpions, who are making their first playoff appearance since 2012.

No. 17 Windsor 3, No. 16 Mesa Ridge 2 (OT)

At Windsor: Caleb Cochran and Dorian Hill scored second-half goals for Mesa Ridge (11-5) to force overtime, but Windsor (14-2) broke the tie in the extra period to advance to the second round.

No. 9 Durango 1, No. 24 Mitchell 0

At Durango: A goal in the 76th minute pushed Durango (11-2-2) past Mitchell (8-7-1).

No. 2 Kennedy 3, No. 31 Lewis-Palmer 1

At Denver: Two goals four minutes apart late in the second half sprung Kennedy (14-1-1) as the Commanders pulled away from Lewis-Palmer (5-11).
